Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trials and Tribulations, released in Japan as Gyakuten Saiban 3 (逆転裁判3?, lit. "Turnabout Trial 3"), is an adventure/visual novel video game developed by Capcom. It was originally released for the Game Boy Advance and was later ported to the PC. It received an enhanced port for the Nintendo DS. A port to the Wii via WiiWare was recently announced, with Japan seeing the title released on February 23, 2010[6], while North America will see it on May 10, 2010[7] and the PAL region on May 21, 2010. Trials and Tribulations stars Phoenix Wright, who must defend his clients in court.
Trials and Tribulations is the third game in the series, and was preceded by Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney and Justice for All. Currently, it is the final game to star Phoenix Wright as a main character. It is followed by Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney which stars Apollo Justice; Phoenix serves as secondary character in Apollo Justice. Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth starring Miles Edgeworth was released on the Nintendo DS in February 2010. It takes place around the events of Trials and Tribulations.
